Vehicle History Report

Vehicle Description

The exact car, a 1972 Land Rover is being featured in the next James Bond movie.  The movie starts with him in retirement and this is his car of choice and is featured in a number of scenes.  This will certainly drive up prices and should be a good selling point for buyers to take advantage before the prices on these inevitably go up when the movie releases.  Is doesn’t get better than a car in a James Bond movie.  I have attached pictures, news articles, and a video.

-Diesel: Diesel is the most sought after.  Only 1,264 Series III’s were made that were both Diesel and Left Hand Drive.
-Left Hand Drive: This drives up the value as most were right hand drive.
-Hard top w/ heat shield:  That is the rarest hardtop option from Land Rover, having the safari windows, heat shield, roof rack, and ladder.  It has has all of the interior options as well including the rare door panels.
-88” Wheelbase Station Wagon: The most valuable of all Series models, the hardtop is removable for convertible “James Bond” look.

-All original: I purchased this from the original owner who worked for the Land Rover plant in Costa Rica in the 60s & 70s.  It has been exceptionally maintained, serviced, and only has 90,000km which is 55,000 miles.

-Diesel motor was thoroughly inspected.  Compression is high, it does not smoke while driving.  It does smoke when first started which is common for all diesel motors of this time period.
-Does not leak fluids.
